About A.A.R.C.

The Ashland Amateur Radio Club was formed in 1997 by a small handful of local Amateur Radio Operators. The club's first goal and continues to be one of its top priorities is the furthering of Amateur Radio, by being involved with the community. For the past several years, we have participated with the Boy Scouts Jamboree on the Air. We have held several ham radio classes where we have helped people become ham radio operators. We also actively participate in Storm Spotting providing timely and accurate reports to the National Weather Service in Valley, Nebraska.  Our most recent addition to our history is the moving of our repeater to our new site located outside of Mead, Nebraska at the 500' level of the local public broadcasting station. We have joined forces with the Civil Air Patrol where we have a joint venture sharing hardline, antenna and repeater site. We currently have about 20 members in the club. We are small, but have big ideas and big hearts...

Meetings

Club meetings are held the last Sunday of each month at the  Village Hall in Cersco @ 3:00pm CST and talk-in is on the 145.310(-) repeater

Membership

The Ashland Amateur Radio Clubs membership is currently 20 strong, and dues are at $20.00 per year per person, with family members costing an additional $5.00 each. If you are interested in becoming a member you can mail a check along with our membership request form to our Club Treasurer:
